This RANS S-14 is a long wing version and has had the boom tube replaced per RANS AD. Airframe has 250hrs and the engine has 15hr SMOH. New Warp Drive 2 blade prop installed at overhaul.
Aircraft is equipped with electric start, Airmap 2000c color GPS, JRC radio, Strobes, cabin heat, dual 9 gallon tanks. Airworthiness inspection done 11/2007.
Aircraft was purchased by the current owner from the builder sight unseen. It was supposed to be nearly perfect and it is not. It is flyable, I ferried it over 500 miles and it will fly just fine.
There are a few squawks that need to be addressed and the owner is not willing to spend another dime on it. So his loss is your gain. If you are the type that likes to tinker and improve your machine, this is your bird.
